The Sphere Map is Tone Sphere's story mode. On the Sphere Map, the player travels between various nodes, unlocking them by spending Lumina earned by playing songs and reaching certain Sphere Levels. Named nodes (locations) will also unlock a comic and/or a playable song. Some nodes can only be unlocked after clearing the song unlocked on the previous node. Most of the locations in Sphere Map are named after real-life celestial bodies, pop culture references, or both.
There is also a Sofa.
Darksphere Sphere Map[]

The main Sphere Map. It can be accessed via either Darksphere or Darksphere XXXL (both share the same Sphere Map), which goes over the main story of Tone Sphere and unlocks various songs for both episodes. On Android devices, the player can traverse a smaller version of this Sphere Map though the trial version of Darksphere.

Side Sphere Maps[]
Smaller Sphere Maps can also be found in the song selection screen for Empyreal Bon Voyage, Six Seconds Later, and Lights Go Round, which all have their own unique Sphere Maps. These Sphere Maps can be traversed through and receive rewards from them for unlocking certain nodes, even when the player has not purchased the episode the Sphere Map resides in. However, any chart that the player unlocks through these Sphere Maps cannot be played unless the player purchases the episode.
These Sphere Maps focus on story, with only one or two unlocks available.
Empyreal Bon Voyage Edition[]
There is an alternative Sphere Map accessible from Empyreal Bon Voyage in the same way. This is a smaller map which follows Derrida and Endu. The only unlocks in this map currently are the "Flash" hitskin and The Scattering Stars' Spherical chart.
Six Seconds Later Edition[]
The story of this Sphere Map takes place right after Empyreal Bon Voyage's story. The only unlock available is the "Claw" hitskin.
Lights Go Round Edition[]
A Sphere Map that introduces Howl as a character. The unlocks available are the "Round" hitskin and Open Your Eyes (Original Mix)'s Spherical chart.
